i have a friend who is in star section,he excels in academics,sports,social situations (an almost perfect person) and very kind hearted....but he's not handsome....so many people called him geeky or nerdy....but what's the appropriate term for someone like him/

The words are synonymous; there's no real difference.
He does sound almost perfect. Fortunately, as people of his age group mature, many will become less superficial and will appreciate him.

The term geek is from the "geek show" that used to accompany carnivals and circuses. Geeks used to do extremely gross and disgusting things, such as eating gross and disgusting things.
Nerds, on the other hand tend to be out of sync with fashion and sometimes have a reputation for being too brainy to be liked by the popular kids.

You say he not good looking, but who are you to say he is not! There may be may people out there in the world or just 1 lady who thinks he is good looking,so you are just as bad as those who call him names. He does what he can bc, he good at it and someone should shake his hand and give him a pat on the back and tell him what a great job he is doing.
