The gas is already the property of the company handling the Enron bankruptcy and has to be saved.
The smell joins the National Aeronautical and Smell Adminstration Museum exhibits at the world famous Sniffsonian institute.

They do no fart at all. They are given only such food that do not produce gas .Even before they start on their jouney they are mainained on such foods ,Assuming that they fart wihile in space ,the gas they fart will be within the suit and the smell will not come out of the suit. ,The gas will not alter the pressure inside the suit to any considerable extent .

The Tri Valve Recycle System will recycle the same gas mostly methane through the re breather and it's fresh as a Rose !

They live with it just the same as the smell from the nappies they wear, but they do have purifiers in their suits, so I suppose that the smell fades eventually.

He will throw up in to his suit, and not be able to see back to his spaceship. So he will die in the void of space. That's not that fun.

They wear special 'big boy' nappies that absorb excreta. This should catch the fart.
