Bolton stepping down-the Gates nomination-Democrats getting control of both houses -all point to Bush no longer being in control. It seems we are already seeing change-most notably an admission by Gates that things are going terribly badly in Iraq-remeber just recently we were "staying the course." The sad truth that no one seems to realize is that Bush was always a figurehead...so hasn't every president really.....
the same exact things would have happened no matter who was in the white house...Everyone would be laying down the hate on Gore if he had won because he would have went into Iraq also...it really wasn't the presidents decision...all presidents are puppets for the people who really have the power.
