Sorry about your loss buddy. When my dad died overseas I had this severe headache out of the blue and I had the worst morning until I got the phonecall. Plus the fact that he met us for dinner a couple of days before it happened, when he hasn't seen us for a good 2-3 years.

Sometimes, our dreams represent a lot about our lives. We see certain events happening and we feel like we've "been there, done that". At other times, our dreams predict our future and give us visible signs of what 'might' happen. This is essentially because the brain is an extrememly powerful organ and on an average people use only 5% of its power. They say, Einstien used 10% and we call him a genius. This immense power allows us to see in the future, recollect past lives and other things. When family is involved in a dream, it is because we have blood ties with them and deep down inside hold immense love for them. such relationship ties bring about future events happening to them to us through dreams, because sub-consciously we are always worried about their welfare. Such dreams are not common but are known to exist predominantly in twins and siblings.

I don't know why this happens. I had a dream my dad died ten years before he really did. I saw the funeral home, the casket, the suit he wore, everything.
Unfortunately, ten years later it came true. And it was exactly how I dreamed it was.

Hi sweety, I agree with everyone...I am so sorry for your loss. The bond we share with loved ones..and the connections we share with total strangers just proves that we are all linked up some kind of way. Your bond apparently had been greater than you imagined. And with that in heart, was what made it possible for him to reach out. Love goes beyond death. God is the source of true love. Family and Companions alike. When my grandmother died my uncle dremed of her, too.I searched for the answer for so long, and I think it is that the one who leaves us has a last message to express...sometimes he/she tells somethin or You dream about the event.

1. Somehow you are connected to your dad. It is unexplainable.
2. Co-incident. Things can happen because they happen
