Assuming machine has been working fine up 'till now...most likely causes are foreign object in pump, pump failed, or filter totally clogged.

Have you checked the filter (usually located low down on the front). If the filter is clear then the pump may be knackered. Try popping the waste pop off the waste pipe and placing it lower than the machine or at least level - maybe outside the door. This will allow it to drain at least to get the washing out and have a better look xx

we had this problem once....a baby sock somehow got sucked into the drain pump on the machine...call a repairman...it's an easy fix. I'm not going to try to explain how you can fix it yourself because you may have a different machine than us. Ours is a Kenmore....repairman said it was a common thing...he's even seen bra's caught up in the pump.

It could be that something is clogging the pump as stated several times above but it might be that the belt fell off or broke. Tilt the dryer back and see if the belt is on the floor. The pump might need to be replaced if it isn't clogged and the belt is good.

Sounds like the pump....perhaps you have an odd sock in it...As said before lower the pipe to less than the water level (into a bowl...not the floor !!!) and empty the drum.If you are handy (or know someone that is ) it is a relatively simple thing to replace. Good luck

prob a hair clip or something stuck in the pump, not hard to check, just need a pair of pliers to take off the holding clips around the hoses. don't forget the machine will be full of water

MOST CASES IT IS A BLOCKAGE IN THE PUMP HOUSING WHICH WILL REQUIRE DISASSEMBLY TO CLEAR THE BLOCKAGE
TURN THE TIMER KNOW TO THE POINT THAT THE PUMP SHOULD BE RUNNING AND LISTEN TO SEE IF IT IS IN FACT RUNNING
IF IT IS IT IS BLOCKED.
IF NOT IT MAY BE A BAD PUMP OR A BROKEN EAR ON THE TIMER WHICH WOULD KEEP THE PUMP FROM TURNING ON WHEN IT IS SUPPOSED TO.

If it is going into the spin cycle (you didn't say), then the problem might be with the discharge hose. The hose needs to be a certain height from the floor, not too high or too low. Your owner's manual should tell you.
