i steam my face however after like 5 days blackheads are back again!! do u have tips for when i wash my face or products e.g which soap should i use hot warter/cold??

Using a face wash with salicylic acid or benzoyl-peroxide in it helps a lot. It may dry your face out a bit at first but it cuts down on the blemishes and blackheads. Don't pop them though because that only makes them spread.

You may want to check your diet (greasy foods or generally "bad" foods can rock your complexion), or you might want to monitor just how often you touch your own face...you may have naturally oily skin that could add to the problem.
I wouldn't use the scouring pads, i.e. Oxy, because a lot of those products can mangle your skin, and in the long run cause more hurt than help.
I'd try warm water, hypo-allergenic soap and/or a hygenic product that is 'gentle-cleansing', to avoid other skin problems.

This totally depends on your skin and the underlying reasons for why your pores are clogging, etc. The dermatologist is always your best bet in getting a facial regimine that will work for you. No one thing works for everyone, so no one's single advice may work for you. What has worked for me is a gentle cleanser...I use Aveeno foaming wash in the morning with tepid water followed by application of Cetaphil lotion ( I have sensitive skin). I repeat this wash at bedtime and follow it up with nightcream by Olay. Birth control pills seemed to really help the breakouts that weren't being helped by regular care. Good luck!
