Can I use my old memory which is PC2700 DDR and put it into my new computer which is PC3200 DDR? Will it run ok?

Yep, you sure can, but if you add PC3200 RAM later in addition to the PC2700, it will be forced to run at the slower speed.

check your motherboard manual. putting in slower ram can slow your system down some but not that much in this case. Most motherboards that can take pc3200 will accpet pc2100 and up.

If this is an "off the shelf" PC, check, Crucial.com to make sure that it will work in your PC. If you built, check the owner's manual or online to see if the mobo will support the memory.

do not put different speeds of memory in your system you're just asking for problems
