I don't know about Finding Nemo 2 but Lauren...the voice of Marlin (Albert Brooks) did not die and would be able to do the voice if Finding Nemo 2 were to be released.
Where do you people get your info?

Yes, actually it will be named Finding Dory. It probably will be released in 2016. It has also been confirmed that characters from the first film will appear in the sequel, including Dory, Nemo, Marlin and the "Tank Gang." The new characters will be Jenny (Dory’s mom), Charlie (Dory's dad), Bailey (beluga whale) and Gill. Finding Dory will be focused on the amnesiac character Dory, and will explore the idea of her being reunited with her family. The setting is one year after Finding Nemo and will be set off the coast of California. Check with the web.

Hope this helps....... Now that Disney has purchased Pixar, there will likely be additional pressure from Disney for a Finding Nemo 2; however, one aspect of the merger agreement was that Pixar would be given back the rights to determine which of the Disney/Pixar films released to date would be made into a sequel. Pixar would also be tasked with creative responsibilty and control for the making of any and all sequels.

DARN!!! That would be sooo cool!!! I love that movie! We watched it yesterday. My middle granddaughter, who is 4 and a half was "hooked" on it (no pun intended, okay, pun intended) when she was 1 1/2-2 and we watched it over 40 times. Now the "baby" (18 mo) loves it. the whole family can practically quote it from memory.

I don't think so, at least not yet. I couldn't find it anywhere on the web except for a site dated Dec 28, 2005 that stated that they were working on one

I don't think so because the man who played marlyn ( nemo's dad) dies in real life so i don't think they would carry on without him.
