I just wonder if guys ever feel that videogames is "their" territory. Or if they like girls playing videogames. Any thoughts on this subject is welcome. Thanks.

I've known women who play games just to have togetherness time with their man. I've known women who are "hard core" gamers and get very territorial - the type who want to completely control the game so it doesn't get to be too much of a boys' game. My wife doesn't like competing against me, so she only games with me when we are on the same side. She doesn't want to lose to me, she says.
I have no negative thoughts towards the entire gender playing games. In fact, I think that most gamers I see are male, so I would welcome more female influences into the games. I personally like my games more thoughtful and more character based than constant killing, and I think many women enjoy games like that as well. That said, there are so many different types of female gamers as mentioned in the paragraph above. How can I generalize about them?

I love girl gamers. It seems that when a female is involved in the game it takes alot of the tension away. Also it's very entertaining because u get to see games from the other sexes perspective. And besides it seems the games dissolve wutever disagreements ya'll had with each other and start new ones based on who jus got they butt handed to em.

I'm not an avid gamer like some others, but hey if a girl can play and want's to-more power to her! I;ve known some who could beat anyone else at particular games..

I don't play a whole lot of games any more but I love playing with anyone else who is as good as me and can give me a challenge and have fun. I don't care who they are.
Heck, my little sister kicks my butt all the time. :-)

my boyfriend loves the fact that i play video games. i also work in the gaming secion of best buy, and a lot of the guys will buy anything i tell them to because i'm a hot gamer chick. lmao. they also ask me out a lot, which gets annoying.
