Andea Yates was arrested for, among others, killing her 7 year old son. You say it was a child, I say it was just a bunch of cells! I think 24th trimester abortions shoudl be legalized!

It's her body, she should do what she wants!!

Lita J; You really need to study the aspect of an abortion.

When the abortionist inserts the scissors in the back of the babies head, to suck out his or her brain, Please tell me, if there is no pain, why the little bundle of life squirms and wreathes in pain.

The life in the womb is not the place of the woman's to decide if it lives or dies, especially when it's a means of birth control.

That life in the womb of a women is not hers.

Nobody has the right to kill, murder or destroy that God given life!!!!

Sunshine; Abortion is not just a women's issue, It also concerns the men of this nation as well.

Some of the things about women's bodies concern men as well.

Remember, the man's rib is the reason for women being here.

And while we are at it. women was created for man. they were to be a help mate. God ordained that to be. and for the most part that is still the way it is.

Now you can say I do not believe in God nor does He exist. Well that does not change Him one bit. Just because you might say the sun does not shine does not make it so.

You're totally ignorant about the subject of abortion, so stop commenting on it. There's a difference between killing a relatively autonomous being that can survive on its own and killing a grouping of cells that are absolutely incapable of independant survival ... and aren't yet physiologically capable of feeling pain. Is the difference big enough to mandate the continued legalization of abortion? That's up to you to decide, but don't rashly marginalize the issue just because you feel strongly about it.

that's not true.
the child was out of her body. and once the part of the brain that deals with thoughts, memories, dreams, ect (called the association areas) is made than that fetus is a person.
before this time abortions are okay because the group of cells can't think, dream, remember or understqand things. the cells could be compared to a vegtable ( its not a perfect comparison but it works)

When will women stop using abortions as a means of birthcontrol hey bye the way i wonder why didnt your mother abort you after 24 weeks gestation if that is what you meant considering there is no such thing as the 24th semester. and if you did mean 24 weeks then they dont abort the fetus at that stage because you are over 6 months pregnant dumb sh**

Hopefully, never. And I agree that there was no justice served to those children in the Yates case, considering she will walk in a few months.
