Topic on talk radio this morning: Women say that their men hurt them to the point where they didn't want men anymore. Your views on this?

to me.. its impossible
no human being can change their sexuality and cannot choose to be gay or straight.
you either want to have a man or a woman as a companion, and you are born either straight or gay.
people who are bisexual, are more or less open minded and very in touch with their sexuality. like me, im straight, am engaged to a man, but i find women beautiful.. i call myself straight with a little bend to me.. lol

They may not want to be in a relationship anymore because they are afraid to be hurt again, but this does not mean that they became a lesbian. They will not gain any attractions towards women because of how a man treats them. They will just be afraid to date a man again <3

Not wanting a man in your life is different from becoming a lesbian. I believe we are born with our sexual identities. I guess, hypothetically, if you were "bi" and a man hurt you, you might turn to women. But not from heterosexual to gay. No.

As a man, I have been COMPLETELY laid to waste by a woman...but would that drive me to being with a man? Not in a million years...
I don't believe that for a second, and neither should you. Desire and love should be the reason you want another person, not based on the past.

Yeah it is possible.This is coz when she goes out with any other guy again..the memories, painful memories will haunt her and continue to haunt her when she dates a man or be friends with them.She would then thinks girls are the ones for them, their saviour and guiding angel..the warm and affectionate care a girl pours for her pals and buddies could be soothing and intimidating for vulnerable souls..that includes girl friends attracted to her same-sex friends.

i have been hurt by a man so bad i decide not to be with anybody i think i will be all long because of the pain and hurt he put me through.

yea i think that it is possible i have thought aboutit a few time cause i have had my heart broken to many times and it just keep s happening and i thought that it wuld be easier to be with grls

I think that's the choice they choose to make....I have a young gal I work with who uses this same excuse....But I have to tell you, I don't buy it.....
