...just for c'est moi... If NASA really does establish a permanent moon base, would you suport the incredible ammount of spending it would take to fund such a project? Where would the money come from, the Defense buget perhaps? and finnaly, wouldn't you like to go there?

I was thinking the same when I was reading the article earlier on Yahoo News. Would I support spending? I guess, but I feel there's A LOT and I mean A LOT of other things our money should be invested in before establishing a permanent moon base. No, there's other places I'd like to see on this planet before I'd want to venture into space.

Okay, lets think logically here. What would be the benefits of a moon base? It's not like we could possibly have enough equipment, should the Earth decide to implode to get a bunch of people to the moon to be safe, right? As far as the money, it will probably come out of defense, but it's not like we actually have a defense fund after the whole Iraq thing.

Well, Ms. intelligentsia here thought there was one there already with Russians living on it, and that the GREAT HUGE relatively new "star" to the bottom right of the moon (which is now the brightest heavenly light next to the moon itself) Were Football field sized solar collectors used for "extras" for them such as Music and the like? (I could be wrong!! Wouldn't be the first time!) I also thought there were Americans there too, like it was a joint venture of sorts and... Yes I'd love to go for a visit.
As far as funding...?
I guess it's better than paying $5,000.00 for a toilet bolt!!

They think it will be a rest stop on the way to Mars, is what they think. But that's silly. Why not just do a survey and see who reelly wants to go visit the moon and how much they'd pay to visit?
Dragon thinks George W. Bush should pay for it out of his own pocket, cuz we could prolly trick him into it by saying we'd name it fer him. heeheee

it probley a waste of money, but it would be pretty bad *** to go to the moon, iam in a don't care how they pay for it. the us gov. is aready in dept why not waste more money

money would come from the taxes on cigarettes and booze, no, I have enough trouble dealing with whats going on here on our own planet with planet surfing
