Hi friends.

I am 7 weeks pregnant, last week I went to my rude GP, she advised me for 3 choices:-
Northwick.
Watford.
Hillington

I currently live nearby to northwick.
I am really afraid as people have told me & read reviews all of these hospitals to be bad...Can i choose hospital which is few miles away in white city....if yes whats the best way to approach?

Please advice.....

tour each hospital.
find an ob/gyn you like and ask them witch hospital they they like best.

And of course find out witch ones are "in network" with your insurance company.

Sh is giving you a choice because not all Dr's can practice at all hospitals. She sounds like she has given you the choices as to where she can practice. I hardle think that at 7 weeks you really need to be deciding where you are going to deliver. You have 7 months to decide. If you felt that she was rude find another Dr. If you want to stay with a GP then one of the first questions you need to ask is if they deliver as not all GP's deliver baby's. You can look into a OB/gyn if you want to.

I am going to a midwife and hospital in another state, because the ones in NY SUCK. I go to bennington hospital, because the three hospitals in my area have horrible records in the maternity wards. Things like pushing c sections when theyre not needed, and doctors delivering babies drunk off their butts.

As long as you can drive there in an hour or so, theres no reason you cant pick the better hospital. The only problem is that your OB might not practice at that particular hospital, which means you'll have someone different that you dont know, or you might have to switch care givers.

You should be going to an OB/GYN. Yes you can go to wherever you wish to go to. You might have an issue whether that OB/GYN office takes your insurance, but other than that it is up to you. Just call the office and say that you would like to be seen there. Congrats and good luck.
