Um, why, pray tell? Would an answer from someone 60 be a bad thing? I mean, I wouldnt mind my age there (I am 45) but, come on, should it really matter? An answer is an answer is an answer.

Umm...yeah. Some people make their Avatars look so great and then you look at their 360 page and it's a 60 year old man. Come on!
My friend is overweight and her Avatar is hot! And she definately is not...not just because of her weight but her teeth are all messed up and she wears glasses.
PEOPLE SHOULD BE HONEST!!!!

specific it fairly is stressful. additionally the avatars lack a varity of faces. they do no longer relatively mirror age or weight. There are no longer any silver or white colord colours for hair. What if i'm a senior citizen and choose to seem the area?

If a person didn't want their age to be known they would still choose a young looking avatar or put down any age they want.

It fascinates me, but I still don't think I'd want that. It always comes as a surprise when I see someone say they are like 40-60 years old, and when I look at their pic, I can't believe it. So I like the mystery of it all.

You can definitely tell the old avatars from the young ones, It just depends on if the person actually tried to make it look like them, Really, you could think you are talking to a hot young guy and it could be a 65 year old grandmother of 4. I think people should reflect themselves in their avatar. Mine looks eerily like me!

Contrary to popular belief, this picture from 1938 is not me. An avatar is just for fun, anyway. No need to bring age into it, in my humble opinion.

I think half the people on answers are retired pensioners in their 90s so the avatars are a huge complement
