Sometimes the eggs of Nerite snails are said to look like sesame seeds, and they are known for being Everywhere in an aquarium and not to hatch in an aquarium setting... but I've never heard of someone accidentally having one. It is usually intentional, as they are great algae eaters. But there are freshwater and saltwater varieties, so maybe...
Otherwise, most pest snails that would be accidental would have egg sacks, so thats not likely what you have. I'd look up what the eggs look like for every egg scatterer you have (even if you only have one of the species). The eggs could either be fungusing and dying, unfertilized, or being eaten which is why you aren't seeing fry. Or they could be very tiny fry that have already found a place to hide.

It sounds like one of your fish is laying eggs. I have the same thing with my minnows. I never see them hatch either because it tends to happen in the middle of the night when the aquarium lights are off. By the morning the bigger fish have eaten them!

It has to be something like fish eggs if nothing new has been put into your aquarium. Could be a stressed fish aborting her fry. (having them to soon) that's why they don't hatch?
If you have snails it could be snail eggs? What kind of snails do you have?
Its no disease I've herd of!

I don't know either. Maybe you could put one under a microscope?
To the other poster who was nasty enough to rank for a perceived spelling error; people from Canada, Australia, and other places spell some words differently. Examples are- colour, flavour.
And if you're going to rank on someone for spelling, the least you can do is use proper capitalization so as not to look like a twit.
Lastly, how do you spell you? I don't know, YOU?
How do you spell know? You obvoiously don't KNOW.

I don't think they are planaria. Planaria are worms and only populate dirty tanks.
What do you have in your tank? What kind of fish, snails, inverts, etc?

What you have in your tank is Planaria. It is harmless and sometimes your fish will eat them.
So get rid of them, try to feed your fish a little less food so the planaria don't get leftovers.
