Check the web site of the manufacturer. Most will have service manuals available for free the detail how to do things like that.

To be honest with you K3 and with all due repect, if you have to ask this question then It is doubtful you will have the tool or the expertise to accomplish changing the notebook fan. UNlike a PC tower where you can open it up and have fairly easy access to most of the components a laptop is designed to be very compact. To change components you will need a field service manual for your model because the components are all packed on top of one and other. You may have to remove the keyboard and drives etc to even get to the fan or you may have to take the back off, remove some components to get there. Even if you do manage it without damaging other connections you will then need to make sure it all goes back in its proper place. If you dont, you wil be the proud owner of 4 pounds of expensive scrap. I have built many PC's and even have a detailed manual for my laptop but choose to let the "proffesionals" sort my laptop out.

very carefully, take the screws out of the system, you have minimal room to work so please be careful, look where the fan is, then think of the easiest way to take the fan out, there are little snapins at the end of the fans power supply, carefully un snap it and repalce it with a new one, the computer has a lot of hidden places where screws are so be extra careful, you dont break the body in any way, you want to put it back together as the way you took it down, don,t be in a hurry, the more time you take the better you will be, getting it back together.
