I am looking for a baby for my 4 year old for christmas and at first she wanted to baby alive well since she is bi-racial I wanted her to have the african american baby alive and you can't find them except on e-bay so I was looking at the Baby Born with magic eyes and it says that it has 9 life-like functions, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it worth it or should I just get the stupid baby alive. The baby born has more accessories like clothes and outfits and you can give it a bath too. Please help not sure which one to get!

They are about the same price Baby Born is $40 and baby alive is $50 and the Baby Born poops and pees too.

* I would let your daughter look at both of them and pick witch one she wants and then like if she is looking at other toys [[ try and find accerories for it ]] then when you are at the check out line tell the casheer to hide it from your daughter...**

I know that additions direct sell baby alive ....but not sure about the bi-racial doll?Baby alive can now talk and she moves her face as well while talking.My daughter is also 4 yrs old and lost interest in her baby born doll after a only a few days.This new baby alive doll can do allot more than the old version.You are so lucky that you can buy the doll at that price.Here in Scotland they are sold out and they are asking for £100 and over on buy it now eBay for them as they are no where to be found in the UK!!!Baby alive is the 4th most wanted Xmas item on kids wish lists this year ......so maybe take your little one to a shop or show her on line and show her both toys and ask her what she would love most.I know she is only 4 but baby alive is a totally different looking doll from baby born and she has different features....leave it up to her ,she will know the answer to your question!loux

The Baby Alive poops and pees. She comes with food and a bottle. The baby born does not do any thing. Try Wal-Mart they should have some. They are about $100 on e-bay.

get her the baby born doll. it'll probably less expensive you get the baby born doll than the baby alive.
