Ok so iv bought a black satin knee length boobtube dress,Im going to my boyfriends christmas do!!
Its completley plain so what accsesories should i add to it??Colours, Shoes,belts ect!! Im 22 years old and size 6 if that helps!!

So all these people responding not to do any belts obviously haven't noticed the fashion trends lately. I would definitely do a satin ribbon belt in gold with some matching accessories, but don't go overboard. If it has a plunging neckline, then do a necklace that does as well, otherwise skip it altogether. Then add a couple of nice bangels and earrings. Shoes try gold as well...Target has these great rhinestone strappy pair for the holidays that are absolutely gorgeous! Have a ball!

Get a fabulous pair of red stiletto heels ~ it will add a great punch to the dress and be festive at the same time. Besides everyone wears black or silver, but red will really stand out. As far as jewelry, don't overdo it. The shoes will stand out on their own so go for simplicity at the neck ~ I would suggest either a thin silver chain w/a diamond solitaire (something short, choker style) for sparkle, or a pearl choker would be very pretty as well. Hi, oh the perfect black dress you can wear any colour, red beads matched with belt and shoes. Gold,silver, grey that would look cool, the in colour ,so i have heard, thinking about it would you need a belt ,some times they make you look as if you are cut in half.Hope you enjoy yourself what ever you wear

Black party shoes - then you can wear them again and again. If you buy new make sure they are comfortable before you go out in them (perhaps get some of those gel party feet things...) Go for something simple that you would wear again for the jewellery - have a look at the www.asos.co.uk (or is it .com) website for inspiration and then get similar in the high street shops. Invest in a really classy pair of shoes and keep jewellery bold but simple-think sass not brass. If i were you I'd avoid belts as they have a tendency to cheapen outfits other than jeans etc.
Remember, more often than not, less IS more.

either gold or silver accessories; with black shoes, either you pull your hair up and wear nice big earrings, with a nice belt; or you out your hair down, with a nice necklace but without a belt and a nice scarf for the beginning of the night :) if you wear gold; put gold and black eye shadow, if silver, try to find a belt that have crystals and silver black eye shadow :)

I was jazz it up with gold! Since u are so slim u will def get a way with a fab gold waist belt. Subtle yet chic gold accessories including a sparkly/sequence bag and killer heels!

Use red accessories, it is so hot right now and it's a very festive color. I would go with red shoes, maybe a thick red belt (Charlotte Russe has cute ones) and some cute red jewelry.
