just to wake up and go to work again. its like i delay sleep, as if that will somehow postpone having to get up and go to work.

thats not y i find it depressing...i find it depressing koz i sit through school every single friken day for 8 hours and it seems so loooooooooooooong- and thats the same amount of time i sleep...and it seems like a second...what a time waster

I actually look forward to sleep because it gives me a chance to take a break from my life. You are usually dreaming of some other situation while sleeping, almost like an alternate life. Its mentally relaxing if you have a stressful life (who doesn't). The only thing I don't like about sleep is that its not long enough and you always wake up right before a good part.

Sleep can be depressing because we have to get up and go to work again. But, maybe you could plan something to look forward to in the morning and you would not be so depressed about sleeping.
It could be drinking a different beverage or having something new for breakfast or watching the early news show.

I find sleep a waste of time. So many things are happening and I'm missing it all. I postpone it everynight, I get my regualr 4 hours and I;m up and ready.

I find it rather depressing. I am now 59 & still fight it. I go to bed late & get up with the birds. Maybe I think I am going to miss something. I have always fought sleep. I figure when I croak, I will have plenty time to sleep.

You need to find a different job, right away, one you will love and enjoy. Don't stay there if your not happy. I don't care how much money you may make, happiness is far more abundant!
