ACK!! What are you doing?! Lizards are awesome and a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y harmeless. Next time a lizard gets into your home don't be so phobic. Use a broom to gently prod the lizard on to it. The little guy will just sit there - trust me - as you walk him out. Lizard's can't hurt you. Their bite, and they don't bite, is nothing, we used to hang them from our earlobes as kids. Besides, they EAT BUGS - mosquitos, roaches, moths - you name it. They are voracious when it comes to bug eating and bugs can be harmful. Reconsider your dilemma please.

i agree that lizards are yucky, and i lived in miami where there is plenty of those and they get indoors quite often. they are harmless. getting a dog or a cat wont really help cuz they will play with them, possibly kill them, but it wont keep lizards from getting in the house. they dont think like other animals. they seek darker places to hide or just follow insects. keep your house clean and make sure your doors are sealed shut. just to prevent them from getting in. i dont think there is a repellant for lizards

Just keep some big snakes on leashes by the doors, that'll keep out the lizards.
(p.s. don't be such a baby, my house is crawling in lizards, they're harmeless and even kind of cute)

Lizards are considered good luck for the house, they don't do any harm and in fact they eat awful insects. so you shouldn't have killed them and there is no way to keep them out.

Cinnamon sticks... the kind you buy in the grocery store. Place a few around each entrance and ground level window, and that will keep reptiles (including lizards) away.

It sounds like the lizzards are small and squeezed in from under your door.Don't be scared because lizzards will keep the bugs from coming into your house.I am a big animal lover so it hurts to tell you this....
You can try getting a stick trap.I had a rat before and it worked ...but not on the rat.The trap is suppose to liquify insect, rat, lizzard or whatever.

I brought a plant in from outside and had at least twenty of them jumping around my kitchen!!! I called my husband ( he thought I was having some kind of 60's flash back ) I called my Son..little sweetie came right over to rescue me. He caught them all and let them back outside. Two days later...another plant with those itty bitty little frogs...at least 50 of them!! My husband is convinced I've lost my mind...Son came to the rescue. That night husband reached for something on the counter, about 4 frogs leaped out at him...he screamed like a little girl. ha!!! Call me crazy huh? I didn't say a word to him. Keep your neighbors number handy.

Go to the pet store and ask to hold a lizard, practice until you overcome your fear. It really is an irrational phobia that will make you feel better to oust!
