Are you talking about Gameday Audio? I assume you are, since regular MLB radio is available free of charge on MLB.com, but it only plays shows and not games.

As for Gameday Audio, I think it's worth it for the price if you're interested in listening to a lot of games. The price should be extremely reasonable, and I've found that the feed is usually very good.

I listen to games on XM radio, and I have to say that having the ability to flip between games as much as I want is fantastic.

I'm not a subscriber to XM but if the objective is to hear Atlanta Braves games, how about streaming audio from 640AM WGST Atlanta or another Atlanta Braves affiliated station?

I don't know about the guy who suggested streaming it from the flagship station's website, but I have tried listening to the Royals online from their flagship radio station and it was blacked out on their station's webcast. I think that's MLB's way of forcing you to buy MLB Radio if you want to hear your out-of-market team online.

Yes its worth it. I've had it for 2 seasons now and I get access to every game for the whole year. You also get to listen to the announcers for each team on that any day. If you love baseball sign up for it this coming season.
