British citizens refuse to let anymore immigrants into the country,,,?

Unless they can prove family links here, the British people don't want anymore whites invading the UK and these 'minorities' changing the whole British culture.

Interseting answers. I liked 'churie78', however I found 'skilliped... H' quite an immature answer. To say 'Interesting how anti-immigration are always the uneducated - usually without a passpart and never made it further than UK 's borders'. What do you know every single person who is against immigration, are they all un eductaed with out passports? What a numpty!

IMMIGRANTS, NOT BRITON'S, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on London, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Brits. However, the dust from the attacks has barely settled and the politically correct" crowd begin complaining about the possibility that our patriotism is offending others. I AM NOT AGAINST IMMIGRATION, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Britain. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of London being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Britons, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.
This culture has been developed over centuries of wars, struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language! "In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture. If St George's cross offends you or you don't like “A Fair Go" then you should seriously consider moving to another part of this planet.
We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great British freedom, "THE RIGHT TO LEAVE". If you aren't happy here then F*CK OFF! We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted. It’s pretty easy really when you think about it.

I would go further, I would no longer accept family links. The more that use that as a reason, the more you get exponential growth. It is also silent and stealthy way of increasing the population. It probably won't be included in any immigration figures. Still, what is? Why do you specify whites? It applies to the lot of them. So that we know who to blame in future, we should keep a record of the names of those key people who have been/are in favour of unchecked immigration. They will eventually disappear into the woodwork and claim, "not me Guv".

Living in London, I find the amount of eastern Europeans coming over a welcome addition. Unlike many of the sub-continental immigrants who hide in Southall and fail to integrate (and whom I think there needs to be an element of control over), the Polish and Czech communities currently in the capital and working hard, integrating and (if we're being totally honest) doing the jobs that us Brits refuse to do due to a misplaced sense of superiority.

Once the Romanians and Bulgarians come over in January, this will continue, a number of Romanian communities have already been established in Edinburgh (most of the new Scot. Parliament builders were Romanian). As a rule, many are highly educated and well rounded individuals. Your Little Englander mentality is one that I used to have myself (apart from the fact I'm Scottish) but since moving down to London and I can see how vital these groups are to the smooth running of the Capital (much like the West Indian migrants of the 1960s). Of course with vast numbers will come some trouble makers but take a wonder round Peckham, Croydon etc tonight, it's not the migrants you'll see starting the fights

Plenty of brits migrate to Spain and other Med countries. Who cares, live and let live i say. I love learning different cultures, its about time brits stopped being so up themselves and just relax...chill.....unwind... Its better for the heart too!

so whats the problem?, question?......... we have been far too easy on people coming to our country in the passed, and i think you'll find that even though we've tightened things up, we are still to accommodating for immigrants......

ok where i live there is huge un employment yet you go to an agency to look for work and they are employing poles and such its very frustrating!
