Because you are not in the right job. If you were, you'd look forward to Monday mornings. (I did when I was a legal secretary. I'm retired now, which is REALLY boring!!!)
But don't go quitting that job just yet. Instead, dig deep into what you really like, and what you would enjoy doing so well that you could do it all day, every day, even if the pay were not the issue.
Get yourself a copy of the current "What Color is Your Parachute?" and do the self-analysis exercises to target the right job for you. Find out what it takes to get such a job (the book is good for that, too), and work toward it. Sometimes you may have to take an entry level position in the field where you want to be a big shot. But learn the ropes, and the very fact that you want it and like it will go a long way toward getting it for you.

Nothings worse than having a job you dont enjoy. Im one of the few that actually like what I do. Yeah, I bit*h and complain about it sometimes, but thats just venting. The first part of the day Im with my coworkers, chatting and laughing. Then they leave and Im alone the last part. Peace and quiet. Its great.
You need to find something that suits you better.

Because you have to face and deal with the same thing over and over again every single day.
You have to serve someone else's vision which is our boss, not yours.
You have to fulfill another person's desires, not yours.
You have to face the same routine everyday with no differences from the other days.
You are not being visionary and creative in your own ways but in your boss' way.
You have to fulfill someone else's deadline or agenda, not yours.
