Yes. Usually because I've misheard them! I once thought that Moby was singing 'he's lost his dog' in one of his songs, because of the video, but it was really 'these open doors'.

Yes, but usually it's because I don't care for the lyrics. It actually great if you want to sing a song that had a few bad words somewhere (you just change them to something else). It works quite well. My dad and I do that all the time.

Try this for fun Replace the word "love" with "drugs" in a song. My friends and I used to do it all the time example: "Wake up suddenly, and you're on drugs" - Billy Ocean lol!

As a kid I mixed up some words very often . Now I usually do it on purpose just for fun or I often translate it in other languages. I still wonder if one song went:
Michael Cain
or
My cocaine

Of course I do.

My wife tells me off because they're usually smutty, (or worse, sheer filth).

The more innocent the song, the better.

Poor woman now has trouble remembering the right words to some songs.....

Borat tried it in his film. I think it worked well! I know that "I Should Be So Lucky" was written in 15 mins while pi**ed. So any you write are probably far superior.
