To all those who answered my questions,
I am truely sorry as to invoke emotions which would cause you to answer such trueful and almost uniform answers. Let me put your minds to rest as there is no immediate danger to my or anyone else's life. You see I am a college student majoring in the field of psychology, and the questions, while morbid, were intending to study the trends of a public forum. The 30 min. study was intended to research two human traits, 1 being the actions that would be caused by the visibility of someone in a life threatening situation, and the 2nd being wheiter or not their would be followers of deviant trends after someone commented to the fact of cheering or assuring the nature of the questioning in a manner of disrepect. I am not refering to those who meant to answer honestly but assuringly but to those answers that did not go into detail but just cheered on the troubled individual. The study was intended to run 24 hours but do to the fact that Ive recieved...

actually no i havent the participants do not need to be aware of the fact that an observational study is being conducted as long as they are not forced into the situation and as long as they are made aware of the study after the study is concluded.

In addition the public drew certain conclusions all i was were suicidal questions from a 3rd person stance, never once did i say that i was suicidal, if i had claimed to be suicidal,coming outright and expressing such then i would have led a corrupt study

Ok, thanks for posting this! Was wondering if you were a) really in trouble and should we send out the rescue squad or b) making stuff up to get people to react. So, I checked out your profile and came the conclusion that it was neither... You never know with this site... lots of dumb stuff and creeps around...

I didn't think that studies were conducted that deceived the participants after the study where people "shocked" others because of the perception of power from the white coat. I believe you might have placed yourself in an ethical dilemma.

I am astonished to read the questions in your profile. All of them are related to suicide.
I have a feeling that you have not told us the truth about your so called study and youself. You are still hiding something. May be becoz the way you conducted your research was not appreciated by the Answerers, hence the disbelief.
I hope I am wrong.........
