The longest the blower will run is approx 2mins. The gas stays blowing for a while at first with the blower kicks on and off. Then the gas shuts off and the blower will run for a while then the gas will kick in. This is all very intermittent and has no real pattern. I have replaced the stat and the thermocouple. But not sure where to go from here. HELP????

There is a little round temperature sensor attached to your heat exchanger that kicks the fan on when the temp gets warm enough. It is probably going bad.

so if you unplugged the sensor would it make the furnace stop cycling ? but it would never kick the blower on at all would it ?
