I'm doing some research for college and I'm also curios myself-I thought it would be too biased if I based my project with my own views.
Some people hate the movie bond because he doesn't resemble the book character.
-others like me love the movie character and know he's an outrageous character modified for the big screen.
what are your views? any unique ones?
Know any trivia or weird merchandise from any of the films?

Maybe we love Bond because we want to identify with the glory-covered gun-slinging hero in each of us! (part of Harry Potter's appeal too, I think...)

I've never read any of teh books, so I can't compare. My favourite film character would be the Connery Bond. The one I love to hate would be Scaramanga.

to compare bond films with the books is difficult to do;the books give so much authentic detail (instance gold in goldfinger)and its flemings background to the stories that make the books overall better but then again try holding a packet of pocorn and drink while you're reading them !

Guys love James Bond because Not only does he get any beautiful woman he wants but he has ALL the coolest new toys and gadgets. What else could you ask for?

i in my opinion think of that the books are many times extra informative than the flicks. like the DaVinci code, the e book grow to be far extra useful than the action picture by way of fact it grow to be extra exact and from time to time the flicks can lack some innovations that grow to be significant in the e book. yet I actual have seen some movies that have been extra useful than the e book becuase from time to time they have extra innovations from the e book. Plus, the flicks are continually crammed with action and you will see what the character particularly appears like or what their domicile appears like or their motor vehicle and the place theyre from or what language they talk. it particularly is often exciting to envision the e book then watch the action picture becuase you may locate it in the two factors of view. I hated the books of those movies too by way of fact they have been see you later and it felt to me that they in no way have been given to the factor to what grow to be occurring there till they defined it with complete factor.
