What the heck, you wont be able to tell the difference. it will crunch with all the other fruits and nuts you have in there. IT might make the fruit cake taste better! LOL Merry Christmas!

If it is your pet, why would you be asking us this? Throw a Froot Loop or Cheerio and get the little fella OUT of there! No body really likes fruit cake, you know.

No just leave him in there. It's more of like a burial anyways because no one actually eats fruit cake.

I'd at least try and rinse it off. If it dies, then put it back in. It should add extra spice to the fruit cake.....
