Iguodala should have won last year, being innovative and creative, doing a dunk that's actually never been performed before. Nate Robinson had to register like 10 attempts per dunk, at least, on dunks that weren't nearly as creative as Iguodala. I really don't think Robinson deserved the title, nor do I think he deserves the hype around him. He's short and can dunk, whoop-de-fu*king-doo, there are kids on playgrounds who can do what he does, at his height, and BETTER and more consistently than him. I'm 6' and can dunk, where's my dunk title? Just because he's short, doesn't mean he deserved it. Spud was creative, and innovative, that's why he got it. Robinson's played out.
chitownballer- look at slamnation, they have 3 guys on an international dunking team that are 5'11" or under. theres a white ncaa recruit named Max Brown who's 5'9" and is known for throwing down big. then there are the kids at my playgrounds in boston who can throw down who are no taller than myself at 6'. there are sooooo many dunkers that do what he does only better. do some research, get educated.

The dunk contest is a farce. I would rather see a guy do a very good dunk and make it on his first atempt than to see a guy try a dozen times and miss. By the time he makes it who cares? There were some sick dunks last year, none of them by Nate Robinson. He was just getting short guy love. Jason Richardson had the best dunk I think I've ever seen and he didn't win it that year. The current format is dumb and completely non-entertaining. The three-point contest is more exciting. If you miss, you're done.

You cant hate on Nate though, he was playing by the rules....if anything, blame the people who came up with the rules....its not his fault he was allowed numerous attempts....personally, i think Iggy should of won, but im a knicks fan and i will take a slam dunk champ, b/c what else do we look back on as a success?

andre deserves the title, the ******* judges were blind! isn't just because nate's height is 5'9" doesnt mean that he has a more likely to win the contest, that last dunk by A.I. "2" was simple but very ******* hard, between the legs reverse dunk i mean that was ******* hard man! then they will just gave it to nate who tried over like 14 times with just a simple throw down?! that suck!

of course not, did you see that freaking rob right there on the slam dunk contest?? iguodala deserved the title, i was like "what the hell" when nate intented like 15 times the same dunk and when he did it they all gave him high scores, and iguodala only tried a couple of times his dunks.
Bottom line, our dunk champion should be Andre Iguodala
