Yes, America is a diverse country. However, your second question is quite different. Are we losing our freedoms that are essential to a democratic government? Absolutely. The government is not Democratic right now. We've lost our constitutional rights that protect from unlawful search and seizure, freedom of speech, right to keep and bear arms, etc. Without our rights, we are not free.
