Hi
I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (almost to the boiling point) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner.

pour hydrogen peroxide on it. it won't replace the colour of your carpet and it will eat the blood stain out of the carpet. pour it on and watch for it to bubble up for a couple of minutes. blot it with a cloth. it may take extra beneficial than one time whether that is going to artwork.

Put some cold water into a small jug, add two tablespoonfuls of salt. Mix well and sponge the carpet with this, mopping it with kitchen roll each time. Don't wet it through.

You could try calling a carpet store...they may have more info. Also, see link below for stain removal hints.

try hydrogen peroxide. the stuff you put on your owies. wet it down good, let it sit for 15 minutes or so, blot it up, and then re wet it and leave it. see if that does any good.
