I'm totally against it. I know people say its "a womans right to choose" But since when do we get the right to choose to murder someone? If you kill a baby 3 seconds after its born its murder, but if you get to it right before its born, its a fetus and it's acceptable, I dont buy it. If people dont want kids they should either not have sex, use protection, or get fixed. I know in cases of rape and incest, it isnt the womans fault that she got pregnant, but you know what? it's not the babies fault either, so I say, save the woman, save the child, abort the rapist. Solves everything.

I also realize not every woman who gets pregnant wants to be a mother and thats fine, but there are thousands and thousands of people dying to have a baby but cant get pregnant, and they'd gladly take an unwanted baby. I debated a pro-choice woman once and she told me that many caring mothers would rather kill their babies than send them to an "uncertain fate" ....what??? these families get put through the ringers and are checked and tested extensively to make sure theyre stable enough for a child. So that argument was crap. I dont see why murdering a baby is better than sending him or her to a loving home, but I guess thats just how the pro-choice mind works.

some of my favorite quotes:

"I notice all those in favor of abortion are already born"

"It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish" -Mother Teresa

"A nation that kills its own children, is a nation without hope"- Pope John Paul II

Unless you have been in a situation where you have needed to have an abortion, you really can't judge anyone. I had to have an abortion when I was 17 due to a chromosome defect and the fetus didn't form properly. It was a terrible experience for me but it was necessary.
I believe abortion is acceptable in the cases of medical necessity, rape, incest and teen pregnancies.
However, I don't believe it is acceptable to use abortion as a form of birth control. Such as someone who has had repeated abortions just because they don't want to use a condom or take the pill. Also, I don't think that abortions should be performed when women are 5 and 6 months along. If you were going to have an abortion you should have done it long before you were 5 months pregnant.

Abortion is totally and completely wrong. It is a life that someone is stopping before that life has a chance to remember and experience it firsthand. There are some exceptions I think for example if the mother is dieing but it should be her decision on that point and no one else. If she wants to die to bring her child into the world then she should have that choice. Other then this I don't believe in it at all. Rape is sad but not an excuse there is an option of adoption. If it was an accident well to bad if your old enough to have sex your old enough to take responsibility for your dumbass actions. It is murder in the simplest form.

I think it is wrong to kill another because you were too stupid to use protection. Adoption is always an option; although maybe difficult, but not as difficult as getting your own skull crushed and removed from a uterus piece by piece.

The left wing fem-Nazis will say that it's a woman's body and she has a right to choose. They are still fighting for late term abortion rights, but it's not their body anymore, it's someone else's. It's no different than letting them kill their babies after wards.

If it's a woman's body and she has a right to choose, why do we make drugs illegal and put extra taxes on cigarettes and alcohol, but we spend tax money to pay for the abortions of the welfare junkies? We don't have a right to ingest what we want into our bodies, but we have a right to kill what comes out? Insane!

My only comfort is the guilt that these ignorant moms might go through, wondering how old their kid would have been, if there is an after life , how will they explain their murder, etc. It's not as painful as getting your skull crushed, but it's a start.

I would never even consider it for myself but I think that as a person who is no better than anyone else, it is not my place to tell another person what to do or how to live. Though I do know people that have had one and the guilt they have is worse then any stress they would have had if they had the child.

Oh and it kills me to see girls using abortion as a form of birth control.

It is ABSOLUTELY WRONG! Once again, I believe it to be an act of trying to take Gods work into our own hands. Any time we do that, we're in big trouble. People need to open their eyes and realize that to Abort a child is to Kill! Stop sugar coating or justifying, to abort is to Kill a innocent child. Point Blank

It depends on the situation. There really are legitimate medical situations were it is justified. Look at an obstetrics textbook and you will find out what I mean. Sad, but true. Better to avoid pregnancy through contraceptive use than to have an abortion.

I think its the persons right to have that choice to make.
When a women becomes pregnant whatever the circumstances ....she only has 3 choices....3...thats it, for a life altering situation. Really its not enough.... granted one is so contreversial its still a choice, and woman have that right!

Sorry if this upsets people. Its not my intention. Murder is murder and all that but keep in mind when a woman chooses abortion its her that has to live with that decision not you . Murder may be murder but its her body , head, and HEART!

unacceptable as a means of birth control but I feel there are several legitimate reason ....medical reason abound rape is also another one.

Good Point Dani but unfortunately it will never happen.

I cried when I saw a movie showing the little body parts of the child being taken from the mothers womb. Its murder, but a women has a right to kill her baby if its still at a point where it wont survive outside the womb.It would cause so many problems for the women if they completly outlawed abortion. because they would find someone to preform the abortion. .. I hate it but its true.

I think it's the individuals choice. To a certain point it is just a cell within the woman's body. And I know all you lifers will say, but it has the potential to grow into a human. Well so does sperm and women's eggs, so why not say men shouldnt
masturbate because it is killing millions of potential humans. Mind you own business.
