Penny Lane, because it reminds me of an afternoon when my family all played Monopoly together and we were happy.
It was about 40 years ago...but that afternoon stays in my mind everytime I hear that song, especially the mini trumpet solo.

IT"S REAL LOVE
That is such a great song!
"...seems like all I really was doing..was waiting for love..."

I can't wait until Noel Gallagher puts out his own compilation of songs on an album of his own, because he picked up where John was forced to leave off. (the day the world cried).
He really has kept the music that the Beatles made and we've all loved and is STILL on the best sellers lists...alive. I've bought more of the Beatles Cd's and enjoyed it just because of the music Noel has written and composed. I'm sure John would dig his stuff too!

I think Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I like the wierd words and flowy music. It is like a dream. But saying that I also love all the first songs, She Loves you, Money can't buy you love etc. In fact I just love the Beatles. No other group have or ever will beat them!

I like 'She's leaving home' It's a sad song, it depicts a person and how they coped with growing up, and out of the family home and changing from child to independant adult!

When I'm Sixty Four
I just like it because it reminds me of growing old with the person I love and wanting to spend the rest of my life with him. And making sure he will still love me and be willing to take care of me when we get to that age and beyond.

My favorite is "What Is Life" by George Harrison. Great music, especially the violins.
