That's why I do mine in small lots. Tree up now, with lights. Later, I start putting decorations on, and later do other decorating. Not a bad way, really!

I drink wine while putting up my lights and listen to Christmas music , and before you know it there are lights in places I never knew I could reach...It's all in fun. Merry Christmas

Well after last year my husband said he would never put lights on the house again so this year we just decorated our bushes, porch trees and the yard. It still looks very beautiful without the lights on the house.

Coz they are a fecking pain the@rse that get on your b@starding nerves, especially when the p1ssing pins fall on the floor and your up the c*nting ladder and the tw@ting thing then start to fall frigging down as soon as you finish!

I feel your pain. Usually to dull the pain and drugery of the task, I listen to James Brown Funky Christmas and drink copious amounts of Crown Royal.
