Are you sure it's a GnR song? Sounds a lot like an Extreme song called"More Than Words" I looked at the "November Rain " lyrics and didnt see those words anywhere....Is this what youre thinking of?....

That´s right, it´s not November Rain or GNR, it´s Extreme´s More Than Words. Plus, I don´t remember any GNR ballads that match those lyrics.
