The vicar asked me to organise a quiz for village primary school: "Modern Rights & Wrongs".

The last event I organised--"Badgers for Kids"--ended in disaster and the vicar has insisted that I "keep it relevant to village current affairs and do some research this time."

Please give me your opinion!

For each question, the infant has mark the act as either:

a) Totally acceptable
b) Morally reprehensible
c) Immoral and illegal
d) Heathen

Are you for real?
From a teacher's perspective- 4-11 is a really wide age range, and those on the lower end of the range would not really know what you were on about! Why not start with a story as your stimulus- and ask children to respond to it? maybe tell them the story of the good samaritan and ask them about the morality of each of the main characters actions.

I hope you weren't taking the mickey after I've just bothered to type all that!

I'm fairly certain that your questions are too mature in both vocabulary and nature for children.

I'm an English professor and my five-year-old has a very advanced vocabulary, but, she would not understand the terms "gay" or "reprehensible," for example. Furthermore, although she knows how babies are made, she would not comprehend the basic philosophies behind homosexuality well enough to be able to answer the question.

I'm afraid your Vicar might have issues with your relationship, kindness and give money to the... questions.

I'd not use terms like whores, genitals, gays, reprehensible... and find alternative ways of saying what you intend to say.

Good luck!

Oh, my! You are one sick puppy!

Maybe if you put you name in place of the animals in questions 15, 26, 17, the vicar's wife will permit you to ask the rest at the WI meet!

Maybe being less firm in some of these questions. I agree it is good to teach them, and let them be knowledgeable. You have some young students it would be wise to let them be the reason you teach not because the Vicar is in need of you.
