A FREE ECONOMY IS AN ECONOMY WHERE THE ECONOMY IS RUN BY MOSTLY THE PEOPLR(UNITED STATES, BRITAIN,GERMANY). COMMAND ECONOMY IS AN ECONOMY THAT IS RUN BY THE GOVERMENT.(NORTH KOREA, CHINA).

Traditionally, "free" means the government doesn't invovle itself in the economy and "command" means the government decides things like what is produced and how much they will cost.

However, in terms of true freedom or choice, that depends on many things. If the government is democratic, then the decisions in the "command" economy are made freely by the people. On the other hand, if a "free" economy was dominated they the wealthy few who own and make decisions on most of the capital in the country, then there is only freedom for the wealthy, and everyone else has to obey the economic commands of the wealthy investors.
