I've met people from all over the world. And 90% of them seem to think that South Africans are great friends and good company. Do you agree?

Yes, we're the greatest ever. I met a German a few months ago... She's an exchange student in SA and told me South Africa is the best country in the world. (Good chance that she'll become a permanent resident in the near future). She also fell in love with cricket!
And we have the most beautiful country in the world. At PW Botha's funeral, someone from Jordan had a touching speech and asked South Africans to take hands... He also said (and I can remember the exact words!): "God gave you the most beautiful country on the face of the earth (he has visited 132 different countries already)". We're also a very diverse nation... 12 different culture groups, 11 official languages, 4 min ethnic groups... and our Chinese population have succeeded 100 000.
I also came across the following... From 2 students who attended Cape Town University: "It is beautiful, the people are amazing, Cape Town is the greatest city I have ever been too (and I have seen alot), and I can honestly say it was the best 6 months of my life. Go to South Africa! It will change your life forever."
and
"UCT is one of the finest places in the world to study. The beauty of Cape Town is just too much to be missed and it would be the best time of your life. You will instantly fall in love with this remarkable city, a city where dreams are made and one where people will come time and time again! GO FOR IT"
So Porgie, yes! SA people are the greatest ever =)
(For all the doom prophets... yes, SA has a high crime rate... but we speak here of the MAJORITY of South Africans...more than half of Jo'burg's organized crime is carried out by illegal immigrants... so it's not always our own people committing crime!)

Where i am now, you could have a more pleasent conversation with an alien from Mars, but in S.A. you could have a proper conversation with a human being!
