Way to early to tell!! The playoffs are all about momentum, that is why the Steelers won last year even though their record was not very good and they got in on a wild card. If the playoffs started today, it would be Dallas beating San Diego, but next week that will be different and in a month when the playoffs start we will find out who has the momentum. I could see San Diego, Indy, Jacksonville, Baltimore, or Cinn in the AFC and Dallas, NY, or New Orleans in the NFC.

For the AFC the Chargers will go. They have won 6 in a row, 4 of which were without their 3 best defensive players, they won their last game on the road with an injury list of 13! They're going to be unstoppable when healthy.

For the NFC, well none of the NFC teams are good, with the possible exception of Chicago and Dallas. Dallas is the more complete team, but they've played alot of bad defensive teams and I think they will struggle to score on Chicago. Chicago is tough to beat at home so they will go for the NFC.

Superbowl: Chargers 28, Bears 17.

It wil be Colts and Cowboys in the Superbowl with the Cowboys winning. Even though they lost to lowly Tennessee, the Colts are ready for the next level, and there defense is much improving over past years. The Cowboys are just a rock solid team all the way around, they have quite a few strengths and no real weakness. They could defend the pass better but they are still solid in that area. Peyton Manning will finally will his team to the Superbowl, if he doesn't, he'll end up like Dan Marino.

My Bears still have the edge in the NFC, though I admit they need to make some adjustments if they want to win the NFC Championship. (and I do not see the Cowboys as a huge threat. I am more afraid of the Saints!) There are a lot of good AFC teams, but I think you have to give the AFC title to the Chargers. So my Super Bowl prediction is: the Bears vs. the Chargers.

Simply put, the Chargers in the AFC and Cowboys in the NFC. I am a biased Chargers fan, but they really are a great team.

Both of these teams know how to win the close games. Coming from behind and putting their opponents on their backs. The Colts have been exposed. They are getting old. And the Bears, well they have Grossman at QB. Nuff said...

Chargers will choke with a rookie QB but maybe next year. I think the Bengals are starting to find rhythm right now and will go to the Superbowl. NFC will have in my opinion the Saints. All other teams in the NFC are just not consistent enough.

The Dallas Cowboys from the NFC. A win against the Saints will solidify that. Bears will choke once again especially against a good defense like theirs. From the AFC the Chargers for obvious reasons. Great offense with a 3-4.

ESPN seems to think it is San Diego and Dallas. My preseason pick was Indianapolis and Dallas. I thought at the time that Indy's tough loss would provide a fire in them that they didn't have before, and I thought Dallas added enough playmakers in the offseason to make them an elite team. I guess Romo playing well was just icing on the cake.

well i dont think chicago defense will be able to win it for them..they had a great defense last year as well, but their offense is horrendous so they wont even make it to the superbowl..i think saints have the best shot, especially if they are able to get a bye..they have a potent offense and their defense is good enough to stop a team...for the afc, i think its going to be NE..i thought indy from the start, but now i think their defense will be their downfall, especially if SD makes it, since a defense will have to stop that offense..and NE is the only team i see able to stop LT from going completely crazy..so NE against NO in the superbowl...with NO coming out on top in a crazy showdown

Its all about Momentum. Like Pitt last year. Who to me right now looks the most like Pitt? I would say the Cowboys. If Romo can stay sharp and Gramatica can kick field goals I dont seen anyone in the NFC stoping them. I see Indy rebounding and have an upgraded field goal kicker if they get hot they will be tough to beat, even with a not -so- good defense.
