Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Viggo Mortensen, Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck, Heath Ledger among others. If women in Hollywood are so concerned with their skin and in love with their Botox, don't you think that they wouldn't smoke? It seems that their smoking rates seem disproportionate to those of the general population.

To stay thin! Also, they all seem to have horrible caffeine addictions too. Between the coffee and the cigarettes, they are assured that they won't overeat.

Actors Who Smoke

Smoking is one of those things you sort of pick up by osmosis. I smoked for over 20 years. It's kind of funny I didn't start sooner because both of my parents smoked but for some reason their smoking never aroused my curiosity (it disgusted me) but I had friends in high school who did and that's when I became curious. I got that first time smoker head rush Th he first few times and immediately wanted more. I didn't realize I had formed a habit until a month later.

I don't imagine it's much different for people in Hollywood. People like to fit in wherever they are. When you're surrounded by smokers, unless they're a very militant non, there's a good chance they'll pick it up too.

Mainly because it's mostly stupid people that smoke and actors are not known to be very bright individuals.
They also are told to in order to get the part, so if they don't start they won't have a career as the smoking industry pays a lot to sell this to kids. It's been long known that it works to keep their profits up.

Smoking is not good. It is horrible, not only for the person smoking but for everyone around that person that even with wearing a mask, second hand smoke attacks. If you eat, you are only harming yourself, so smoking because it does harm others that do not smoke is the worst addiction there is. Get it?? Please think about that before having a answer that does not make sense.

Enjoy smoking? you really enjoy sucking smoke from burning leaves into your lungs and having ashtray breath, your clothes stinking and your lungs turning black from tar? REALLY you enjoy that? Spending 5$ a pack for this fun. ever notice how all drug addicts smoke and homeless people? To me it's a sign being stupid. Funny thing is later in life when they are sitting around with oxygen bottles and tube in their noses they cry about have cancer and COPD and other things. Thanks to smokers we all have to foot the bill for high health care rates. If it were legal, I would shoot every person I see light up! but until then I just walk over to them and fart, so they can smell my stink like I have to smell theirs

The are a representation of the population as a whole. And remember just because they are rich does not mean they are smarter, they make dumb decisions, sometimes even more often, than they rest of us. They also usually have addictive personalities, which is what gave them the drive to be famous anyways.

I know that cigarette companies pay the stars to smoke in their movies, so maybe they are paid to smoke in public, too. It is great advertising for the nasty companies.
