Jesus was actually born in the springtime. Christmas falling during the time of the Winter Solstice came about through the Romans. Personally, I celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmastime (Dec. 25) with the rest of the world. I get a day off of work because of Christmas. I gather with my extended family because of Christmas.
I live with hope because of Christ.

I have to admit that I have lost the true meaning of christmas. I get more excited about the gift giving, the parties, and tthe food. That is sad. Thanks for asking an eye opening question. Merry Christmas.
