i have seen a psychiatrist and psychologist and have been diagonised with social anxiety .i am currently on anti-depressantsand i also practice deep muscle relaxation techniques and breathing exercises.i have got abit better but i have a problem with my 'fight or flight reflex'.i feel like i cannot cope anymore.when i walk in quiet streets or places and a car just appears suddenly or a person looks at me i jerk, almost running away, move really quickly(sort of an adrenaline surge).i don't have much of a problem with crowded places as i just blend in.when i am walking in hallways and someone appears the same happens.when people enter rooms that i am in(when they get me unaware) i jump and feel like running away.it is an automatic response and it has become part of me.i have been signed off work as i was always been kicked out of jobs and everyone thinks that i am an idiot.i just cannot control it and people are always gossiping and i have become a laughing stock.what do i do?

A good book maybe that I have read would be not saying this will solve the problem. "How To Stop Worrying And Start Living" By: Dale Carnegie

Yes I am a Christan, and God has ultimately helped.

Keep up with what is making you settle down feel good and relaxed if something like this comes up just remember you are not alone I also (have seen/still am seeing) psychiatrist and psychologist as well as taking anti-depressants my relaxation exercises are different tho I try to get rid of the energy first by using a treadmill in my house then relax the muscles and lesson to nature sounds.

For what you should do tho?

I can't really say for I don' know where you are located--NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD TELL--WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T---- The best of the best I have ever had would be in Rochester Minnesota no not the Mayo Clinic but a different person if you would like to try is a Marriage & Family Counseling dude with the company "Associates in Psychiatry & Psychology" name is being witheald over the prue site of eye.

My little one acquired her first 2 tooth at approximately eleven months with hardly ever something flawed in any respect however demanding night time waking. Now among 13 and fourteen months she has been a TERRIBLE teether, I am speakme approximately every day crankiness, waking up for 3 hours a night time and no longer falling again asleep. With the final enamel she acquired she had a fever of approximately one zero one levels for an afternoon and a part. Well, she simply reduce 2 extra and has had top fever for approximately 3 days now and truthfully it's as a substitute alarming. She's evern gotten hives, however I do not know, that might be an hypersensitive reaction to the ibuprofen we WERE giving her. Anyway, the nurse made it sound like no significant deal, however that is freaking horrifying and I am taking her to the medical professional the next day, I are not able to suppose handling this for ANY extra of her tooth, she has been rather sickly seeming, like gained;t consume so much and the top fever and the whole thing, final time she did have a rather unhealthy diaper rash too. But her fever this time acquired as much as 104 levels. I hate this teething factor, it's scaring me truthfully:( Good success with yours!

What you need is a dose of confidence. You need some things that will boost your own inner morale. What can help with this is martial arts. There are many types and forms of martial arts out there. What you are looking for is a mental martial art form. Many of the physical martial arts teachers also teach many of the mental martial arts as well. Go and visit your local martial arts training hall and ask to speak to the teacher alone for a few minutes. Describe your problem and ask if he has ways to help. Some may, some may not. I think this route my work very well with you.

I have social issues too. People think I'm an idiot too. Job issues. Trying to find one now, have not had one for five years. Don't know what to do. Being home has only made my situation worse. I can't handle the drugs they try to get me to take, nor can I bring myself to "talk" to someone about it. At least we are not alone! I 'm hoping some of the answers you get will help give me some ideas on how to cope. I'm going crazy!
