can any one explain to me NMR spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy?? and how can you find out the molecular formula using these methods?

1H NMR can tell you the types of H you have, and 13C NMR can tell you the types of C you have. MS tells you the molecular weight by the molecular ion. reread the section on spectroscopy in your text and it will begin to make sense or go talk to your teacher/TA
