we are all human but i would have to say with exsperance some one with bi polar they get obsessed with these type of issues. There thinging at times get confussing and they might have a hard time dealing with all those issues mentioned. I have been married for 5 years and my now ex husband had bi polar and it is a had thing to deal with let alone have to live with. We just need to rember were all human and everyone has something that makes use diffrent then anoothed so please leave others with bipolar alone they have anought problems and don't need to reminded of things.

Being a Bipolar (maniac Depressive) person I have to say that we don't think differently then everyone else. We just have trouble with some of the things that happen to us in our lives.
For me, I find that I have trouble with trust but not with loyalty or truth.
So maybe everyone is different, it doesn't make us bad people though.

Yes, they have trouble with those things and more. My Mom and Brother are both bi-polar so I know their personalities well.If they take their meds regularly they are more stable and act more "normal". It's when they go off the meds that they get manic which can consist of abnormal behaviour for that person, doing things they wouldn't normally do and bouts of vicious anger. They are very up and then very down and depressed. They'll have bouts of energy and then the depression kicks in and they don't want to talk or be around anyone. Also, yes they tend to lie when they are manic. They say that the up side of being manic feels good because they are full of energybut then the down side always follows. Hope this helps you some. I have lived with a bi-polar Mother my whole life and it wasn't easy. I never knew which personality would meet me at the door.

To "us" you mean do they think differently then us? or do they think differently to us, a completely differently meaning.
To me, I don't know what a bi-polar is, this is something new to me. My sister after being a ***** for 50 years is bipolar and now, we're suppose to forgive her because she has something wrong, I can't see it or taste it, I don't even know what it is except she takes meds for it.
She doesn't have problems with any of the following you mention, she very loyal, trustful. Works harder than anyone I've seen before, overachiever. Etc, etc. she's just a *****.

If they are treated for it then it isn't the bipolar that is the problem. They can be bipolar and either be raised with respect or not. Two different issues.

yes they do. bi polar is also known as manic depressive. they have huge highs and low lows. when they are manic they do not sleep, they are flambouyant, loud, they may be sexually aggressive and they make poor judgements. when they are having lows they are extremely depressed. they may sleep in their car, stop bathing, feel self loathing.
in most cases they do well if they stay on their medication. the problem is when people start feeling normal, or good they stop taking the medication. there is no cure. it often takes longer or more medication to get straightened out again.

One of my friend's neighbor is bipolar and she is strange and very moody. Perhaps acts irresponsibly. So, it could translate into yes to all your questions.
