Yup, been there before. It sucks! Thanks for reminding me, I need to go get some smokes soon, to prevent doing that. lol

Hi Joni, yes I have, I have not smoked in 3 months. But when I use to, yes, I have gone through my ashtrays, and even car ashtrays to find a cigarette butt. That is sad huh? LOL

When I was younger yes all the time just to get some nicotine in my system. I so wish I knew then what I know now about the nicotine addiction. I would of saved a lot of money and lung tissue. Yes I still smoke I have no will power when it comes to that, I am afraid of eating too much if I try and quit.

Um no but I saw a guy in a bar once go around and get every cigarette in the ashtrays that had one or two hits on it and then smoke all of them. Other people's cigarettes. I almost puked.

Hmmm. Maybe if Joni read more Sci-Fi, she wouldn't get quite so bored & fidgety and start hunting for cigs :)

yes...of course, it's late and you run out and you want that last puff before bed or it was too late to go out the night before and you smoked your last one so you grab a butt from the night before until you run out to the store....every smoker i know has done this. That's why it's called an addiction ....otherwise we wouldn't do crazy stuff like that..or freeze our butt off standing outside to grab a few puffs! lol

Man if that doesn't just shout I have a problem nothing does. Who would want to root around a smelly ash tray to smoke second hand cigarettes!!!?!!!

Yes as disgusting as it may be; I have had to several times, and I think most smokers have. Strange how people do things for their addictions.
