come rent my room, i told her no, because am not intereseted in making money from that room. She pleaded until i said fine, after all it is only until February,(she is going overseas). The Verbal Agreement was to pay a what is a small amount of dollars between the first and fifth of the month. This month she has not done so. She called and said she would bring the money Sunday, that never happened and now it's Tuesday. Her things are occupying the spare room. I have called her she has not returned the calls. but i know she is pratically homeless, do i put her and her stuff out? she has a decent full time job, so money is not an issue, and this is what i was afraid of. She was the one begging for help.

You need to tell her, she is either to pay or take her stuff out. You are looking forward to the money. This was the agreement. You had no intentions of renting a room, you did her a favor per her request. She needs to stand on her agreement. Bottom line, or get her things out and find a more suitable situation. Just be honest and stern. She already knows what time is it, and you should not feel bad. You should not have to ask for your money, however, you obviously will. Good luck and God bless****

Tell her she can pay the back rent, AND sign a rental agreement that says she will pay on the 1st of the month, plus that she will be out by the end of February. If she doesn't do that before the sun sets today, then she can pick up her stuff from outside your door, & your locks will be changed.
You did her a HUGE favour by extending your boundaries for her, & she repayed you by taking advantage.

She's no friend. Sorry you had to find out the hard way.

I think your friend is being rude and selfish.

Call and leave her messages that she has not made good on your arrangement and give her a deadline to make good.

Then check out legal aid for the correct procedure deal with this situation so that there are no legal entanglements up in the future if you have to put her and her things out.

Remember even friends go to court.
