Hi just put something up for sale on ebay.I can see it listed in" my ebay" but not on the actual listings of ebay.Is this normal?

Hi, funnily enough I noticed this yesterday myself.
It usually takes about an hour or so for it to appear.
Your item DOES eventually show up on searches that you do. It is public domain stuff, and you'll see it.
I've just looked up my own sale - there it is.

It is quite normal, a lot of people will see items while others don't. It is the way their search works, also if you are logged on it only shows you things that you would find useful..and so not your own items.

Yes - It sometimes takes little while for an item to appear in the listings or search...so this is usually nothing to worry about.

No - that sounds weird.
If you click on the title in My Ebay it should take you to the listing.

tip for next time: time your auction so that it ends on Sunday night. You get more bids - and more money - from the heavy weekend volume.
