It sounds to me like you need to leave. If you've only been there a few weeks, and already you're not able to get along with people, you need counselling, and a new job. If they're already locking you out, and you haven't got the message from that, then maybe you should try an internet job from home, where you don't have to work with others, because it appears that you are truly clueless. Oh, and it's always the other person's fault, isn't it?

Talk to your general manager about it. I'd just tell him he's making it unbearable to work around. Go on and tell him the things this person is doing and saying to you. You shouldn't have to work under these conditions. If the general manager won't help I'd seriously think about finding another job. good luck to you. ;o)

It sounds like he is harrassing you at work. Workplace harrassment is illegal and I would speak to your boss about it and if that doesn't solve it, I would turn him in for harrassment. If you do, make sure you keep a record of what is going on (time, date, description - what may have caused it, or questions asked and his comments). If you keep a record of this, make sure you don't leave it at work. If nothing else, I would start looking for a new job.

Either loan him money or find a new job. That's about the only way to get an obnoxious supervisor off your back.

You need to address this with your immediate supervisor. This needs to be taken care of ASAP. You can't go on like this! It's obvious that he refuses to act professionally. If nothing else, your supervisor should make it clear to him that he needs to act professionally at work. You don't have to like each other, but you do need to treat each other with respect....and he is not treating you with respect.

Good luck!
