Well, most fish eat their young, particularly the common livebearers such as mollies, platies, guppies, endlers and swordtails.

You'll have to go with cichlids, African cichlids, if your tank is big enough.

Convict cichlids: http://www.aquariumfish.net/images_01/wild_convict_fem_with_fry.jpg are known as the rabbits of the cichlid world, they breed like crazy. You could go with a variety of African cichlids.

OR you could go with some South American cichlids. If your tank is big enough (50+ gallons) you could get angelfish. Get a group of young ones and eventually they will pair off and breed. Angels are community fish, and will protect their babies, so other community fish like tetras can go with them.

If your tank is smaller, go with a pair of

bolivian ram: http://www.azgardens.com/images/Ram-Bolivian.gif
kribensis cichlid: http://www.justbajan.com/pets/fish/species/krebensis/kribensis.jpg

In a 20-30 gallon, you could have one pair of one the above types of fish (apisto, krib or ram) and a few other fish, like a school of tetras and come corydoras.
