just be honest, if you don't know, that may be part of the interview. its shows if you don't know something, you are showing you are not afraid to ask

During an interview, they really don't want to know how much you know because information changes constantly. They want to see how adaptable you can be. The right answer would be, " I don't know the correct answer right now. If I'm given a reasonable amount of time to research it, I'll be able to give you an intelligent answer. " Honesty is the best policy and it shows a willingness to learn.

Never attempt. Be frank. It may be just that, a test of your honesty. Perhaps they already know you don't have the answer.

i would pause, think about it, and if i really didnt know, i would say so,,,,,for questions that require facts. if its your opinion or goals ect they are asking about, i would try to think up something,,,, the best is to try to prepare, ahead of time,,, read about the company, think about not just getting the job, but why you would be good at the job, where you see yourself in 5 or so years, and where with that company,,,,, etc.

Say that you don't know if you have to, but it might be better to say that you would address the issue and find an accurate answer, or something to that effect.
